About Us
Alpha Relief is a team of believers aiding fellow Christians by ensuring hope in countries where religious persecution is prevalent. God has provided Alpha Relief with ways to minister in China and North Korea, two spiritually oppressive regimes in the world, by offering hope in areas that are in desperate need of God’s light. Using a network of underground international contacts, Alpha Relief regularly goes undercover to distribute Bibles and other essential resources to these nations, providing tangible evidence of Christ’s great love, compassion, and mercy.

Alpha Relief meets the physical and spiritual needs of those living in countries where Christians are persecuted.
History
Alpha Relief was founded by Chris Moore, a man raised in Kenya and Uganda, Africa as the son of missionary parents. Upon his family’s return to the United States, Chris attained a bachelor’s degree in Communication. After graduating, he moved to Germany in 1994 to attend a school of world missions and worked with Muslim refugees in Western Europe. A year later, Chris traveled to Siberia to help establish a new mission’s base there with HELP International. Two years later he returned to the U.S. to serve as the Global Missions Coordinator for New Life church in Colorado and was on staff until 2000. In June of 2001, Chris founded Alpha Relief, a nonprofit organization 501(c)3, to help sustain Christians in countries where religious persecution is prevalent. Currently, the Lord has opened doors for the ministry in China and North Korea. Alpha Relief is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Basics
Who we are: A team of people committed to finding, reaching, and helping Christians in countries where religious persecution is prevalent.
What we do: Using a network of underground contacts, Alpha Relief channels resources into places where persecuted Christians are in dire physical and spiritual need. We also educate churches in the U.S. about areas of intense persecution and act as a vehicle for empowerment; a conduit for faith and support.
When we work: Although Alpha Relief operates within strategic windows of opportunity, our team members throughout the globe are working around the clock.
Where we work: Anywhere the body of Christ is suffering from persecution; currently our work is focused in China and North Korea.
Why we do it: Alpha Relief believes in following the example of Jesus Christ; who demonstrated amazing love and compassion to those in need.
How we do it: With the financial support of churches, foundations and individuals and through the expertise, creativity and credibility of our networks. We provide persecuted Christians with physical food as well as the additional resources needed to survive their oppressive spiritual battles.
